Feréol Babin

Feréol comes from Dijon, France. With a background in architecture and space design, he later shifted towards the making of objects. He studied in Nagoji and Rheims and he also finished a one-year internship in Benetton. Babin was interested in light that connects an object with space. He cooperates with different furniture and light producers that would let him integrate his intuitive design – a mix of brutality and softness with a respect towards natural processes and manual work. Babin likes to say he has dirty hands and no fear to mix media, be it painting, sculpture, design or craft. He likes to find a right combination of rationality and emotionality.
