Board

One notion (LIMIT), three academic positions and one common black (or white) board. Miniseries of three scientific lectures on the ideas that have overcome the limits of knowledge. How did mathematics deal with the infinitely small quantities? What are the limits to the growth of global human population? What limits are there in nature and physics? The physicist, teacher and journalist Martin Mojžiš, the environmentalist Alexander Ač and the physicist Juaj Tekel will present the stories of ideas that pushed the limits of knowledge forward. The result is a common work - dispersed schemes, diagrams, pictures and notes from the process of explaining and discussing - on the board.

Organised by: Fedor Blaščák and Peter Liška
