For the Metabolism/Stoffwechsel dress, Cindy Fodor used a custom bioplastic that she designed and created in her home lab. First she designed the material. After boiling and drying the materials, she laser cut the bioplastic fabric. The last step was to apply the materials on top of each other so she could hand-sew them together. The result of this process was a bio-cotton dress.
