Ateliér textilnej tvorby v priestore, VŠVU Bratislava
Formované plesňou je textilná inštalácia, ktorá vychádza z pozorovania mikrobiologických procesov, najmä plesní. Hoci ich často vnímame ako nežiadúci znak rozkladu, ukrývajú fascinujúce farebnosti a textúry. Práca sa zaoberá témou pominuteľnosti a cyklickosti života ktorého súčasťou sme aj my a ukazuje, že aj procesy biodegradácie môžu byť estetické, pozitívne a plné potenciálu pre vznik niečoho nového.
Výsledná forma evokuje detailný pohľad do sveta plesní a húb – organických štruktúr, ktoré oscilujú medzi odpudivým a krásnym. Materiály použité pri tvorbe tejto práce sú prevažne prírodného pôvodu alebo recyklovatelné. Napriek temnej téme rozkladu je cieľom práce vyvolať v divákovi pocity radosti, nádeje a životnej sily. Formované plesňou je obrazom momentu premeny – estetickým gestom, ktoré oslavuje cyklus života v celej jeho krehkej, nejednoznačnej kráse.

Molded by Mold is a textile installation created and based on the observation of microbiological processes, especially mold, which, although often perceived as an undesirable sign of decay, hides fascinating colors and textures. The work deals with the theme of transience and the cyclicality of life, of which we ourselves are a part, and shows that even the processes of decomposition can be aesthetic, positive, and full of potential for the emergence of something new.
The resulting form evokes a detailed view into the world of molds and fungi – organic structures oscillating between the repulsive and the beautiful. The materials used in this work are mostly of natural origin or recyclable. Despite the dark theme of decay, the aim of the work is to evoke feelings of joy, hope, and life force in the viewer. Molded by Mold is an image of a moment of transformation – an aesthetic gesture that celebrates the cycle of life in all its fragile, ambiguous beauty.
