The collection references the importance of returning to the origins and revival of hand weaving in order to move into contemporary design. In the collection, garments are created directly from the fibre, creating innovative garment qualities such as the non-shrinkability and durability of the fabric. Visually, the garments are characterised by a neutral colour palette, minimalism with an emphasis on the character of the fabric and details that acknowledge hand weaving, knitting and the ancient technique of macramé. The collection symbolizes a return to origins - not only in the production of the garments, but for the artist it is a return to what has surrounded her and what she has cherished since she was a child.
