Martin Babic / Bläckfisk

Bläcfisk’s interior accessories and lamps are an original collection of everyday objects made of concrete and complemented with wooden parts. The objects use their material’s potential in full which makes them both appropriable and decorative. Floor concrete is a phenomenon used in today’s architecture more and more often – the collection refers to this trend, but instead of big blocks uses the material in slim forms with regard to their final weight and firmness. The combination of wood and concrete reflects the Scandinavian architecture, which – in spite of the Northern taste – presents itself as nice and cosy.
