Martin Jankura

He focuses on design and production of furnishing and interior accessories decorated by pyrography. He is currently working in Kosice in a tandem with the designer Anna Sejirmanova under the brand Pyrodesign. In furnishing he focuses on connecting craftsmanship with modern design, to which he adds new meanings, expresses the needs of the time, he makes it fresh and attractive for young generations as well. He fills the gap on the market, producing furniture which is art at the same time. He will present something new on Bratislava Design Week - a wooden sea kayak. This product could not have been accomplished without cooperation with the company Proteak s.r.o., which began filling orders aimed at product design. The resulting product is always unique, whether from the natural differences in the materials used, or handmade decorations using the pyrography technique.
