Objekty vznikli v spolupráci s vedúcim pedagógom Filipom Maukšom, spoluautorom ich technického a konštrukčného riešenia.
MX lab je vedecko-výskumné pracovisko FAD STU zamerané na priemyselný a experience dizajn. Prepája dizajnérsky výskum, experimentálne technológie a prototypovanie s výučbou a spoluprácou s praxou. Kurátorkou kolekcie je Michala Lipková.

MX lab / Faculty of Architecture and Design, STU in Bratislava: Smart Lights – Interactive Lighting
MX lab Team: Michala Lipková, Filip Maukš, Vladimír Boroň, Yuliia Tkachenko, Vera Teliatnikova, Samuel Molnár
Smart Lights collection presents four design concepts for interactive lighting—Filipo, Monolith, Nebula, and Veer—which explore light as a medium that shapes the atmosphere of a space.
All the prototypes utilize the color and movement of light in conjunction with the physical transformation of the lighting fixture or its components.
Through interaction, the visitor can change the appearance of objects, the lighting effect, and the resulting atmosphere of the space.
The works were created by students of the bachelor’s and doctoral design programs at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, STU in Bratislava.
The objects were developed in collaboration with lead pedagogue Filip Maukš, who also co-authored their technical and structural design.
MX lab is a scientific and research centre at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology (STU) focused on industrial and experience design. It combines design research, experimental technologies and prototyping with teaching and collaboration with industry. The curator of the collection is Michala Lipková.
