Interaktívny kinetický objekt podrobuje inej forme skúmania, či špekulácie – matematický uzol, teda vnorenie kružnice do trojrozmerného Euklidovského priestoru. Dva matematické uzly sú ekvivalentné, pokiaľ môže jeden byť spojito transformovaný do druhého pomocou deformácie, ktorá korešponduje s manipuláciami so zauzleným lanom, ktoré nezahŕňajú jeho pretrhnutie.

The interactive kinetic object subjects another form of examination or speculation – a mathematical knot, specifically, the embedding of a circle into three-dimensional Euclidean space. Two mathematical knots are equivalent if one can be continuously transformed into the other through deformation that corresponds to manipulations with a knotted rope without breaking it.
