Bratislava Design Week 2025 takes place this year in a unique location – the Svoradov boarding school at Svoradova 13, Bratislava.

This iconic functionalist building, surrounded by a city park, will become a living experiment of the theme of TRANSFORMATION. The seemingly inhospitable spaces – with bare walls, corridors filled with silence, and an architecture that remembers decades – will be transformed into temporary galleries, studios, and installation fields. The park around Svoradov offers not only a peaceful counterpoint but also space for design in the public space, where nature and urban structure can be intertwined with the authors’ ideas.
