Hoci ich \u010dasto vn\u00edmame ako ne\u017eiad\u00faci znak rozkladu, ukr\u00fdvaj\u00fa fascinuj\u00face farebnosti a text\u00fary. Pr\u00e1ca sa zaober\u00e1 t\u00e9mou pominute\u013enosti a cyklickosti \u017eivota ktor\u00e9ho s\u00fa\u010das\u0165ou sme aj my a ukazuje, \u017ee aj procesy biodegrad\u00e1cie m\u00f4\u017eu by\u0165 estetick\u00e9, pozit\u00edvne a pln\u00e9 potenci\u00e1lu pre vznik nie\u010doho nov\u00e9ho.

\u00a0V\u00fdsledn\u00e1 forma evokuje detailn\u00fd poh\u013ead do sveta plesn\u00ed a h\u00fab \u2013 organick\u00fdch \u0161trukt\u00far, ktor\u00e9 osciluj\u00fa medzi odpudiv\u00fdm a kr\u00e1snym.\u00a0 Materi\u00e1ly pou\u017eit\u00e9 pri tvorbe tejto pr\u00e1ce s\u00fa preva\u017ene pr\u00edrodn\u00e9ho p\u00f4vodu alebo recyklovateln\u00e9. Napriek temnej t\u00e9me rozkladu je cie\u013eom pr\u00e1ce vyvola\u0165 v div\u00e1kovi pocity radosti, n\u00e1deje a \u017eivotnej sily. Formovan\u00e9 ples\u0148ou je obrazom momentu premeny \u2013 estetick\u00fdm gestom, ktor\u00e9 oslavuje cyklus \u017eivota v celej jeho krehkej, nejednozna\u010dnej kr\u00e1se.\u00a0

GRAND HOTEL | TATIANA POLJAK: MOLDED BY MOLD<\/strong>

Studio of Fiber Art, Academy, Fine Arts and Design Bratislava

Molded by Mold is a textile installation created and based on the observation of microbiological processes, especially mold, which, although often perceived as an undesirable sign of decay, hides fascinating colors and textures. The work deals with the theme of transience and the cyclicality of life, of which we ourselves are a part, and shows that even the processes of decomposition can be aesthetic, positive, and full of potential for the emergence of something new.

The resulting form evokes a detailed view into the world of molds and fungi \u2013 organic structures oscillating between the repulsive and the beautiful. The materials used in this work are mostly of natural origin or recyclable. Despite the dark theme of decay, the aim of the work is to evoke feelings of joy, hope, and life force in the viewer. Molded by Mold is an image of a moment of transformation \u2013 an aesthetic gesture that celebrates the cycle of life in all its fragile, ambiguous beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
