The textile designer Zuzana Zmateková created a collection of digital prints made into clothing within her project based on her master thesis Data Tex-styles. The project deals with new media, digital aesthetics and their use and processing in design. The artist made the presented prints with the Kinect sensor and the programme especially designed by the programmer Matej Fandl; they drew the scanned objects in different textile links, with an adjustable colour variety and a sewing thread width. She moves from the structure she worked with in the project Data Tex-styles towards the scans capturing her living space. Through the Kinect optics, the space changes from a personal to an anonymous space stripped to a visually pleasing image, lacking any specific signs.
