Activitree/U.F.O
Activitree je multimediálna skulptúra ktorá svojov formov reprezentuje strom. Je zložená z hliníkových prolov a LED trubíc. Samotný objekt vieme ovládať a využívať viacerími spôsobmi. Pôvodným zámerom bolo vytvoriť interaktívny objekt ovládaný umelov inteligenciov/AI /, ktorá by vyhodnocovala vizuálne podnety z priemyselných kamier. Tieto podnety/dáta / by ďalej spúšťali video sekvencie a zvu- kové loopy. Strom by ožil a jeho audio vizuálnu reprezentaciu by ovládali priamo zúčastnení diváci. Chceli sme stvoriť univerzálny festivalový objekt: U.F.O.
Počas ostatného pandemického roku a súčastnej situácie sme sa rozhodli vynechať, v tomto prípade nezmyselnú interaktivitu, a použiť ďalšiu z možnosti ovládania našeho “Ufa”. Tým je live act performance. To znamená že objekt nebude ovládať AI. Na performance so živou improvizáciov v ramci festivalu BADW21 sa zúčastnia: Vladimír Štefánek /zvuk / a Christián Frank/ svetlo/.

Martin Baláž, Erik Rejta a Daniel Chromek ukazujú semestrálne projekty vertikálneho ateliéru, ktorý vedie. Pôjde o dizajn plavidiel – jácht, ktorým sa ateliér venuje od nadviazania spolupráce s talianskou d´Annunzio University Cheti – Pescara v roku 2019. Spolupráca sa začala pozvaním členov ateliéru, ako lektorov na medzinárodný workshop „Floating Design“ do Pescary a pokračovala prvým zadaním „Medzinárodná inšpirácia – dizajn jácht“.

Doktorandka Soňa Otiepková sa v rámci dizertačnej práce na FAD venuje témam farieb, ktoré následne inšpirujú aj jej autorskú tvorbu. Vo svojej kolekcii ručne tkaných kobercov Homeland / Doma pracuje s abstrahovanými domácimi ľudovými a tradičnými vzormi, posúva ich do modernejšej roviny prostredníctvom zmeny farebnej palety a skúma, kedy sa stráca spojitosť s pôvodným tradičným vzorom.

Martin Uhrík a Roman Hajtmanek predstavia diskrétny mestský dizajn – ide o systém univerzálnych modulárnych prvkov, ktorý pracuje s voxelizáciou a diskretizáciou geometrie ako s nástrojom variability priestoru v rôznych mierkach, čím rozmazáva hranice medzi elementami dizajnu a architektúry. Systém je prezentovaný na modeloch (3D tlač) agregovaného mobiliáru – stojanov na bicykle a kolobežky a posteru rozhľadne.
