Flatgallery
Flatgallery is a unique project of an apartment gallery in the center of Bratislava, which is focused on presenting the contemporary artistic work of young authors, mostly of domestic origin. This year in December, the gallery will mark its 5th anniversary under the curatorial leadership of Andrej Jaroš and other invited curators. Over the course of one year, seven exhibitions will be alternated at approximately two-month intervals. In addition to painting, drawing, graphic art, and photography, the gallery also offers space for the presentation of design, object, and video art. This year, Flatgallery is participating for the first time in the BADW 2017 project by exhibiting glass objects by the author duo Illola (Patrik Illo and Aleksandra Stencel), porcelain by the duo Markéta Nováková and Mira Podmanická, author’s wristwatches by Tomáš Ondroušek, and painted wooden products by the company Markovič.
