Guapa

The Guapa studio makes wallpapers, fabrics and interior accessories that feature designer patterns connecting Southern temperament with Nordic minimalism. The brand was founded by Alexandra Varšová and Eva Kocnárová as a natural result of their similar view on graphic art in its diverse forms. Colour and experimenting with simple shapes play an important role in their work with an aim to reshape them into more complex structures. What drives them forward is playfulness, imaginativeness, i. e. the qualities they consider a basis for joyful and unageing spirit. They would also like to share this feeling with the users of their works. The new collection of textile products was designed and made by the designer Eva Kristóf. Fabrics, wallpapers and interior accessories are made in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
