Projekt sa zameriava na uvažovanie o alternatívnej evolúcii, ktorej vizualizácia cez sériu objektov

vyvoláva diskusiu o možnom ekosystéme budúcnosti Doneckej panvy (Donbasu) na východe Ukrajiny. Ide o hypotetické umelé organizmy, ktoré vznikli na hranici technogénneho a prírodného prostredia zničeného intenzívnou banskou činnosťou a ruskou agresiou. Práca je pokusom pozrieť sa na katastrofu cez prizmu možnej evolúcie života na Zemi, ktorej už človek nemusí byť hlavným aktérom. Z hľadiska dizajnu práca komunikuje reálne problémy tohto regiónu ako ukážky lokálnej apokalypsy, ktorá je varovným príbehom pre nás všetkých.

The aim of the project is to reflect on a potential alternative evolution, the visualization of which prompts a discussion about the prospective ecosystem of the future in the Donbas region in the east of Ukraine. The practical part of the thesis delves into the topic of speculative evolution, particularly a post-humanist vision of a zone affected by ecological disaster and war. I address the issue using the method of speculative design, involving a comprehensive collection of information about the topic and data concerning the region in which the development will unfold.

To materialize the post-fauna into physical forms, the natural and anthropogenic conditions of the region are analyzed as the foundational elements shaping the speculative ecosystem and its representatives. Visualization of primitive forms of post-fauna, artificial organisms inhabiting this zone of alienation, as well as a depiction of possible ecological niches and forms that post-fauna might assume, is carried out using artistic and design methods. This work represents an attempt to examine the disaster through the lens of the evolution of life on Earth.
