Third year of In the Midl Design Forum will be a DREAM!
On Tuesday 9th June contemporary design will meet with medieval atmosphere in very special venue – Church Klarisky. Conference starts at 13:00h. Registration is possible on info@inthemidlforum.sk. Price of registration is 5€ (ticket for BADW exhibition is included).
Speakers:
Conference will be opened by famous French poetic designer Inga Sempe. Her works are based on precise defining of form, thorough selection of materials, surface coating, but also on specific disciplined simplicity.
Young Swiss designer Laura Couto Rosado is focused on technologies and their ability of create own artwork/performance.
Production of prestige Czech studio DECHEM is strongly connected with glass and light. Collections are small stories, soft and mysterious, soaked with fragments of memories and associations.
Legendary Italian designer, architect and pedagogue Vico Magistretti was one of postwar makers, who formed whole generations of authors. His granddaughter Margeritha Pellino will talk about his lifework and foundation.
Slovak graphic designer and new media artist Ján Šicko will talk about how to create with light. Founder of DevKid studio will introduce his work with IOIN – authoring software for 3D modeling, mapping, and performance.
Revolutionary concept is brought to IMDF by Another Shoe. They are exploring collaborative open production line for shoe making / prototyping. Eugenia and Sophia will also lead an exclusive two day workshop in Fablab Bratislava.
Conference will be hosted by Adam Berka. Afterwards there will be a possibilty of free discussions while listening to nice music.
