Brilliant by Design

Among other exhibitions, the Pisztory Palace and the Bratislava Design Week will host a major exhibition of top-ranking Czech glass and porcelain Brilliant by Design that was premiered at Ambiente Frankturt in February 2013. The exhibition was organized by the Czech Centres and curated by Petr Nový. Experience the original installation by Olgoj Chorchoj that encompassing the selected collections from the top people of the Czech design – Jiří Pelcl, František Vízner, René Roubíček, Rony Plesl, Daniel Piršč (see the picture), Martin Žampach, Zdeněk Lhotský, Jiří Laštovička, Olgoj Chorchoj as well as famous Arik Levy the collection of which has been realized by Czech brand Verreum. The exhibition presents the contemporary works as well as the old works by Ladislav Sutnar, Bohumil Čabla, Stanislav Libenský and Jaroslava Brychtová, Václav Cigler etc.
