Petra Kubíková is a fashion designer based in Bratislava. In 2015 she graduated from the Fashion Design Studio at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She is dedicated to creating limited women's collections. Typical elements of her work are stylization of shapes and distinctive geometry. The designer emphasizes the practicality of the garments translated into high combinability and easy maintenance in the form of appropriately chosen materials. Kubik's work has been influenced by her simultaneous study of Japanese at the University of Technology and a study stay in Japan. She finds inspiration for her work in the atmosphere of this country, its culture and architecture. In her work she uses her experience from domestic and foreign exhibitions.
