An interactive installation of the Puôjd textile design company is happy to invite the visitors of the Design Week to an overview of the best of the best of the world of contemporary design. If you want to enter, you will necessary come across some questions (stepping on them quite literally). How valuable is the work of designers? The red carpet was designed by Michaela Bednárová, a designer who has been tackling the Slovak symbols and themes in her own brand Puôjd for 10 years. The carpet fabric was created from scratch using the technology of jacquard weaving in a company with a long-term tradition of processing of decoration textiles.

The natural motion of visitors on the carpet symbolises the way we now trample our national identity, allowing thus unsound nationalism to take advantage of our official symbols that should belong to every citizen of Slovakia.
