The brand SlovakiaGift came to existence by combining graphic design and a great admiration of Slovak folk art. At present it encompasses the production of souvenirs, advertising, interiors and other, strongly inspired by folk ornaments. From the beginning, our ambition was to revive the original folk creations and to integrate them into our everyday life. The collection FolkCore is a reflection of these ambitions, offering a way of creating a modern, but nationally identifiable dress by using the folk originals, original techniques, cuts, and material combinations. This brand was initiated by Sylvia Ciulisová and Vladimír Korček in 2011.
