Práca rozpráva hlasom prastarého stromu Wollemia, skúma život ako akt kozmickej krádeže – prijímanie energie od „Hlavného zdroja“ (Slnka) a jej nezvratné premieňanie na neorganizovanú hmotu – entropia. Je život ospravedlniteľný, ak len urýchľuje teplotnú smrť vesmíru? Strom rozjíma o svojej pasívnej agencii, modliac sa konármi, prijímajúc svetlo „tisícmi prstov“, sledujúc evolúciu bytostí od drakov po ľudí. Hlas stromu prepája mýtus, vedu a mystiku a naznačuje, že hoci život zvyšuje entropiu, zároveň rodí zmyslovosť, zážitok. Prináša možnosť vnímania existencie nie ako vlastníctvo, ale cez duálnosť zážitku dotyku a byť dotýkaný, ju vníma ako zdieľané, pominuteľné vedomie.

The work speaks in the voice of an ancient tree, Wollemia, exploring life as an act of cosmic theft—drawing energy from the “Main Source” (the Sun) and irreversibly transforming it into disordered matter—entropy. Is life justifiable if it merely accelerates the heat death of the universe? The tree reflects on its passive agency, praying with its branches, receiving light with “a thousand fingers,” and observing the evolution of beings from dragons to humans. The tree’s voice weaves together myth, science, and mysticism, suggesting that while life increases entropy, it also gives rise to sensation and experience. It offers a perspective on existence not as possession, but through the duality of touching and being touched—understood as a shared, transient awareness.
