The new MASTERS editionpresents prominent figures from the history of Slovak design. The first one is an assistant professor, academic sculptor Peter Lehocký, ArtD. (born in 1944 in Drietoma, Slovakia, lives and works in Trenčín) that belongs to the most important characters of light design and glass sculpture in Slovakia. Lehocký was a long-term head of the Department of Design at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Among his large-scaleimplemented projects are e.g. a complex of exterior lighting at the Trója castle in Prague (1988, still working even after the massive floods in 2013) or in the Medical garden in Bratislava (1987, unprecedentedly deinstalled, allegedly stored and stolen a few years ago).

We will see his collection of intimate light objects – soft, organic geometrical abstraction – in Zoya Gallery.

The curator of the exhibition is Boris Ondreička.
