Concept #veryslowfashion
is based on the natural need to create and build shared values. These are reflected whether in working with natural and sustainable materials or in the concept of sharing individual pieces of clothing. Each piece is a one-size-fits-all prototype that is accessible to the nearby community. We consider this approach to be characteristic because it listens to the material, and is based on respect for the environment and the people who enter into the making process. It is the opposite of fast fashion and stimulates creation based on experimentation.

The starting point is working with material, mostly textiles in space but also other media such as paper and photography. We move between architecture, spatial design and product photography. An important aspect is the tactile perception of textures and qualities, learning patience, exploring the relationship of the body and the form that surrounds it. Fabric as a primary medium takes on a three-dimensional character similar to architectural work. It is through the exploration of the process of creation that we arrive at the final form. The collaboration with photographer Diana Kakara Dobrescu pushes the boundaries away from basic textile work and photography, entering into a dialogue with the space in which it finds new forms of presentation and interpretation.

"Within any photographic project or documentation, it is important for me to know the core. In this case it is Katarína Onderková, who does not fall into the classic character of a woman, an architect, builder, set designer, dancer, or so-called seamstress. She is a woman who cannot be described in one word. In this project I try to elevate the many qualities that Kata presents. Her work is a combination of very precise architecture with a social and public impact, a combination of romance and happiness, but which she is able to anchor pragmatically and yet make it move - whether it is an object, a body or a building. My task is to recognize, to know and to understand. Despite the simplicity of the photographic expression, we have hidden everything that Katarina Onderkova (and her character) represents there." Diana Kakara Dobrescu.
